Ribbon REQs: Active, Participate in 3 events.
Summary:
The Academic team consists of cadets who excel in the academic area. These cadets on the academic team compete against other schools at select drill meets, by participating in taking standardized tests prepared by the school that is hosting the competition. The tests cover general knowledge, naval knowledge, (found in NS I, II, & III books), and current events.
In addition, select members of the Academic team participate in several Area 12 regional “Brain Brawl” competitions and the regional championships.
NJROTC cadets interested in joining Academic Team can join by displaying interest to the Team Commander.
