- Car Washes - Back for 2010! A series of car wash events will be hosted early in the school year at Wendy's facilities, developed primarily for Drill Team members (our most expensive activity). 70% of dollars raised will be distributed equally to the Cadet Account of cadets who participate.
- Letter Writing - New for 2010 - personalized letters, corporate sponsor opportunities! Our most substantial event each year, time and materials will be provided so that each cadet may reach out the people in his/her family's network for financial support. Cadet will receive 70% of all dollars raised after expenses are paid.
- Corporate Sponsorship Program - New for 2010/11! The Corporate Sponsorship program will allow cadets to offer sponsorship opportunities to business owners in his/her network, to drive significant revenue. Sponsors will receive signage and promotional opportunities in addition to the tax exemption offered to recipients of the traditional letter writing program.
- Thursday Dinner Out Series - Expanded for 2010/11! A series of dinners out are planned for the 2nd or 3rd Thursday of each month; a portion of the proceeds for each event will be received by the Unit.
- Merchant Programs - working with merchants like Publix, NJROTC is a recipient of a portion of each sale made by participating families.
- Entertainment Book Sales - New for 2010! The unit will align with this popular coupon book this year; books are sold for $20, and we keep at least 50% depending on total amount sold! Coupons include national merchants like Target, Best Buy and Borders, and local businesses such as Rosa's Pizza and Los Bravos Mexican Restaurant.
- Calendar Sales - New for 2010! A 2011 calendar is coming, featuring the cadets! And, for the first time, this and all spirit wear will be available for sale online - the perfect holiday gift!
- Cadet Auction - New for 2010! Time to get our cadets to break into their piggy banks to help fund some of the fun in 2010/2011. Held at the Annual Picnic, the cadets will have the chance to bid on fabulous prizes: Get the CO to shine your shoes! Get 1st Sgt to wash your car!
