The Orienteering Team ("O Team") is a land navigation competition through the woods, with just a compass and a map. Physically demanding, this team involves navigation skills, speed, and agility. Orienteering is an event that requires a combination of physical stamina and the ability to think quickly on your feet. Cadets also cannot be afraid to get wet or dirty during competition.
Cadets use a magnetic compass and topographical map to find checkpoints on an orienteering course as quickly and accurately as possible. The course's leg lengths vary from short (3 KM) to long (7 KM).
In the 2021-22 academic year, the O Team placed 5th overall in the Area12 Regional Competition and qualified for the National Navy National Orienteering Competition in San Jose, California. At Nationals:

- Cadet Roper placed 6th overall for female runners on the intermediate course
