Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1600-1715. Cadets will be running during practices and need to bring a change of clothes for practice.
PRACTICE WILL BE RAIN OR SHINE, JUST LIKE OUR MEETS. THE ONLY CAUSE FOR CANCELATION IS LIGHTING.

Orienteering is a land navigation competition through the woods, with just a compass and a map. Orienteering can be one of the more physically demanding events in which the unit competes.
Cadets use a magnetic compass and topographical map to find checkpoints on an orienteering course as quickly and accurately as possible. The course's leg lengths vary from short (3 KM) to long (7 KM).
Orienteering is an event that requires a combination of physical stamina and the ability to think quickly on your feet. Cadets also can't be afraid to get wet or dirty as you compete on some of the courses.
